Beautiful Winter

My kids and I did this run last Friday. Unfortunately our winter has been jammed packed with other things this year and we just haven't hit the slopes as much. I really, really miss it!

Can this photo be attributed to serendipity of weather convergence or is there a divine presence?
This photo provokes in me the image of “God’s breath”.
“The Spirit of God hath made me, and the breathe of the Almighty hath given me life”
(Job 33:4)
This time in history is robust with turmoil. Change in our country’s status, our global economy. Change in our personal status and our personal economy.
The process of change begins with God's ruach hovering over the surface of the deep.
Ruach is the transliteration of the Hebrew word for wind/spirit/breath.
Your photo illustrates to me how easy it is to take God’s presence for granted. He is always with us, like your photograph depicts; God’s breath, ruach, filling in our void, comforting, conquering, yet graceful and beautiful.
A truth I keep discovering every time I need it.
